How to Write Mathematical Expressions in Windows
Many a times, we need to write some weird mathematical expressions in the computer, it’s may be for a project or a personal work. To write these expressions in the paper is quite easy, but is not on the computer. So, in this post, I will give you the way how to do this.
We can use the Math Input Panel provided in the Windows 7. It’s not a full of
jargon, so you’ll be happy to use it. Many few have heard of this and less than
that number of people have used it so far.
If you don't know what is Math Input Panel let me tell you that
it’s a utility by using which you can type various mathematical expressions;
which can’t be directly written into word processing software such as MS
Office. The Math Input Panel (MIP)
is available from Windows 7 onwards.
Follow the steps to access the MIP---
1) Press Windows button or click on the Start button. Select on All Programs.
2) Click on Accessories.
3)Now, you can see the Math Input Panel option; select it.
Math Input Panel uses the math recognizer that's built
into Windows 7 to recognize handwritten
math expressions. You can then insert the recognized math into a
word-processing or computational program.
It’s
an easy-to-use facility provided by Microsoft. Now, write (more likely draw)
your required mathematical expressions. You can see the expressions on the top
side of the MIP’s window. After finishing up the expression, click on Insert. Now, you will be able to use
the expression in a word processing software. Make sure that your word
processing software does support Mathematical Markup Language (MathML). It’s
because Math Input Panel can only insert math into programs that
support MathML.
We would like to hear further from you, please comment on this. Thank You for your invaluable time. Stay on Computz.
