5 cool Softwares that you need to try now!

The computer is comprised of mainly two key type things- one is hardware and the other is software. A computer’s processing power is useless unless we have software to perform some operations using this processing power. From the invention of software, there have been new softwares coming day by day. In today, we need to know the best softwares in various categories out there. Today, I am going to write about five cool softwares which can make our daily life easier than before. You may have used these before. Here, I have included only five; as those don’t require a high-end configuration and are easy to use too. Let’s begin.

   1) Fraps:
Fraps is a universal Windows application that can be used with games using DirectX or OpenGL graphic technology.
In its current form Fraps performs many tasks and can best be described as:
 * Benchmarking Software - Show how many Frames Per Second (FPS) you are getting in a corner of your screen.
Perform custom benchmarks and measure the frame rate between any two points.
Save the statistics out to disk and use them for your own reviews and applications.

 * Screen Capture Software - Take a screenshot with the press of a key!
There's no need to paste into a paint program every time you want a new shot.
Your screen captures are automatically named and timestamped.

 * Realtime Video Capture Software - Have you ever wanted to record video while playing your favourite game? Game recording has never been this easy! Fraps can capture audio and video up to 7680x4800 with custom frame rates from 1 to 120 frames per second! All movies are recorded in outstanding quality.
The reason I feature this software here is that Fraps is a pocket size bomb. Despite of its small size, it does all your needs.

IP Messenger is a pop up style LAN message communication software for multi platforms. It is based on TCP and UDP/IP. Some of its features are-
 - This software does not require server machine.
 - Folder/file transfer (ver2.00 or later)
 - RSA/Blofish Encryption of communication data        (ver2.00 or later)
 - Simple, lightweight, and free software :-)
 - IPMsg software is available for Win16, MacOS, Mac    OSX, X11, GTK, GNOME, Java and all sources supplied  with protocol.
So basically you can send file/folder using IP Messenger between computers using a LAN network. Visit IPMsg's homepage.

Have you ever thought of running Android apps in your PC. Well using a class of software called Android Emulators you can achieve this. There are many of them. My personal favourite is BlueStacks AppPlayer. By using it you can run almost all android apps in your PC; all you need is the .apk files of your desired apps. You can also download apps directly from Google App Store through it. If you have planned to use it, I will recommend you not to download from the official website. The reason is when I was installing it, it just started updating and never stopped. And upon searching the net, I have also found other users who have go the same problem too. So, you need to download the FULL BlueStacks HD AppPlayer; out there in Internet. Take a look on Bluestack's homepage.

   4) Folder Lock: Many a times we need to hide our private files and if possible, lock them such a way that only you can access them. The hide part can be done using the inbuilt options Tools->Folder options->View->Hidden files and folders. But the locking option is not that simple. Still you can get it done by some commands in Command Prompt(CMD) in Windows. So, why not use Folder Lock instead of those complicated stuffs. It is fast and reliable. It also hides itself from “Installed Programs” and “Start Menu”, leaving no trace that you use Folder Lock. I personally tested and it does what it says. So, just download this from its homepage. Remember, you need to pay for it to get full access after the trial period.

The name says that all. As you can see it, the Program Protector can protect your program files (.exe) from being executed, with a password. So that the kids don’t ruin! Its size is simple and like the Folder Lock mentioned above, can hide itself from “Installed Programs”, “Start Menu” and from the directory too where it was installed. Try this from its homepage.
